No5
No5 Victoria Cottages, forms part of a beautiful stone terrace built in 1897 to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. On a narrow, quiet lane overlooking the church, the cottage is a short walk from the picturesque village square.
The cottage has recently been sensitively redesigned and restored to create a beautiful and calming place to stay: A place that is full of character, contemporary style and original features, the combination of which emphasizes the ‘spirit of the place’.
No5 overlooks its own garden, complete with flowers, herbs and a wonderful stone flagged terrace, on which time can be whiled away reading and enjoying a glass of wine.
The original stone flagged floor, covered with rugs, runs from the lounge into the kitchen and the walls are adorned by stunning photographs of the local area. A wood-burning stove creates a warm, romantic ambience that emanates through the house.
The cottage has one gorgeous double bedroom with an antique French bed and a bathroom with a cast iron roll top bath and separate shower.
